Katie + Leith: A Wedding at the NYC Courthouse
On a crisp February day, Katie + Leith tied the knot in New York City! Photographing this intimate moment for the couple was so special, and I was honored to have had a role in preserving one of the most memorable days of their lives.
The Wedding Garden.
Directly following their ceremony, I met up with Katie + Leith in the Wedding Garden across the street from the courthouse to begin the celebration! Katie's vibrant flowers brought life to the wintry landscape, and their joy was undeniable.
The Steps.
We made our way to the vast front steps of the NYC Supreme Courthouse. We started here to capture a timeless and classic feel.
The NYC Grit.
We continued to move through the area, and switch up the vibe! We wanted to capture more of the gritty NYC textures and details (graffiti included!) while still embracing the bridal sophistication.
The Subway.
Katie and Leith departed on the subway, and of course I wanted to capture that moment as well. What's a wedding without a send-off?!
